At Immanuel it is important that parents be involved in their child's spiritual growth. It takes all of us working together to provide a quality ministry for the children at Immanuel.

Sunday Bible Adventure, which is offered during the months mid-September through mid-May each year, begins at 10:00 a.m.

Kid's Discovery I & II for children ages preschool - 5th grade meet in the upstairs Children's Ministry Room. They enjoy songs, games, learning Bible stories, fellowship and building friendships. Children 3rd - 5th grades (Kid's Discovery II) gather downstairs in the Son Room (yellow classroom) after enjoying songs and prayers with the younger children for a more age appropriate activity.

Middle School Youth Group meets in the downstairs Youth Room. The Youth Group is for kids in 6th - 8th grade. Youth will grow in their relationship with God while growing new friendships with people who care about them.

High School Youth Group meets in the downstairs Youth Room II. Youth from 9th - 12th grade will gather to grow in their relationship with God while growing new friendships with people who care about them.

Adult Bible Study gather in the downstairs Adult Classroom. Each lesson stands on its own and no prior knowledge or experience is required just a desire to know the Bible better. All are welcome. This class begins at 10:15 a.m.

Sunday Bible Adventure

Kids Summer Day Camp

Held during he month of July

Immanuel partners with Camp Lutherwood each summer to bring an exciting week of singing, acting, playing, Bible adventure, crafts, studying creation, and worshiping to Immanuel.

This program is for children 6 years - 5th grade (going into 6th grade). Youth who are entering 7th grade - 12th grade enjoy an afternoon at a local water park and return to Immanuel for dinner, games, fellowship, and fun with the Lutherwood staff.

Kids Day Camp is an all day camp and children will be served a morning snack, lunch, and an afternoon snack. Campers check in between 8:45 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. and check out at 3:00 p.m. (Friday is a half day and check out is at 11:45 a.m.). Thursday is typically water day so come prepared to get wet and to have a lot of fun! Thursday evening is when parents, family, and friends gather together for ice cream, songs, skits, and fellowhsip. All are welcome!!

Immanuel believes every child who wants to attend Day Camp should be able to, regardless of financial difficulties. Scholarships are available to help cover the cost of camp for any camper in need. Simply contact the church office at 503-981-1036 or info@woodburnchurch.org for information.
